ChessProAnalytics

1. Who we are

ChessProAnalytics ("the Service") is operated by Chess Pro Analytics ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@chessproanalytics.com.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use ChessProAnalytics. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or at least 16 if you live in the EEA or UK. One person, one account.

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deletion removes your games, analysis, and profile data. It cannot be undone.

3. What ChessProAnalytics does

ChessProAnalytics imports chess games you identify, runs engine analysis on them, and shows you patterns in your play. Analysis output is an opinion generated by software. It is not advice, and we do not promise it is correct or that using it will improve your rating.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

• Price. ChessProAnalytics Pro costs $2.00 per month. All engine analysis runs locally in your browser.
• Renewal. Each subscription renews automatically and bills to your payment method until you cancel. There is no fixed term.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked on your Account page. Cancelling stops future renewals.
• What happens after you cancel. Pro features remain available until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account returns to the free plan. Your data is not deleted by cancelling.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, Pro access ends. Your account and data remain; you can resubscribe at any time.
• Refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including for partial months. If something goes wrong on our end, contact support and we will review it.
• Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change takes effect. You can cancel before it applies.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

5. Acceptable use

Do not:

• Use ChessProAnalytics to cheat in a live game, or to assist anyone doing so.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its analysis output in bulk.
• Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Import games you have no right to access.

Using engine assistance during live rated play violates the rules of every major chess site. ChessProAnalytics is built for reviewing games that are already over. Violating this acceptable-use policy may result in suspension or termination.

6. Third-party chess data

ChessProAnalytics imports publicly available game records from Chess.com and Lichess through their public APIs, subject to their terms. Those services are not affiliated with ChessProAnalytics and do not endorse it. How we handle that data, including games belonging to people who do not have a ChessProAnalytics account, is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability

ChessProAnalytics is provided as-is. It is a small service run by a small operation. We do not guarantee uptime, and we may change or discontinue features. If we shut the Service down entirely, we will give notice and a window to export your data.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version identifier at the top changes when we do. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use ChessProAnalytics after that means you accept the new version.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by California, United States, and any dispute will be handled in California state or federal courts.
